CHAPTER 1

“BEEP BEEP BEEP!” Macy Lively’s alarm clock rang after being snoozed five times prior, it was screaming at her to wake up, she hated that alarm clock, although she never realized that it was her best friend. Without it she wouldn’t have anybody kind enough to wake up early every morning just to make sure she gets up and isn’t late for work. She peeled her eyelids up, and smacked the alarm clock till it shut up, and then she just lay there, in a daze, with her eyes zoned in on a funny splotch of blue on her white ceiling.
“And yet another day, maybe something exciting will happen today,” Macy mumbled to herself with a sarcastic doubt in her voice. Nothing exciting ever happened in Primwood, the quaint little town in Iowa that Macy was born and raised. It was early October so Macy opened her closet in pursuit of something cute and cozy,
“No, no, maybe, never! Well that’s cute, but not in the mood for it,” Macy said, desperately searching for an outfit that would get her through the day comfortably and fashionably. For a girl finding the right outfit is one of the hardest problems we face everyday!
“PERFECT!” Macy screeched as she pulled out a plum purple knee length cardigan, she then knew what she needed to complete the look, she slipped on some grey leggings, dark brown knee high boots with a buckle around the ankle, an oversized maroon red T-shirt, a huge grungy charcoal grey scarf that hung to her waist, and a black knitted beanie. This outfit was perfect for Macy’s tall slender body, and her deep chocolate brunette curly hair that draped all the way to her waist.
